What is the Pick Your Plush experience?

Every plush has its own unique expression and appearance. No two are completely identical so we want to offer you the chance to pick exactly the one you want to take home by viewing photos of the very plush we have available to purchase!

It’s almost like you’re shopping in-person, browsing and comparing the exact plushies we have in stock: which one is your favourite? Maybe you prefer the one with the floppy ear? Or the one with more spots? It’s fun comparing the subtle differences between plushies, so we hope you enjoy the Pick Your Plush experience just as much as we do! ♡

Where do I view the Pick Your Plush photos?

Pick Your Plush photos can be found on the product pages of our in stock plush - click here to view the plushies we have in stock. Visit the product page of a plush and scroll down to see photos of the exact plushies we have available. Choose your favourite face and take note of the pendant attached to the ribbon around its neck (e.g. Star, Crystal, Feather, etc.). I’ve picked my favourite! How do I buy it?

State the pendant the plushie is wearing (e.g. Star) in the order special instructions at the cart page. If it is still available, we will pick the plush with that pendant and send them to you. You will receive the plush with the ribbon and pendant included! 

Can I pick a plush when I place a pre-order?

Of course! Just add a comment in your order special instructions to let us know you wish to pick your plush (e.g. “I want to pick please!” or “PYP”). 

If you have opted to Pick Your Plush for a pre-order, we will order at least two of that plush to ensure you can pick your favourite between them. If you have pre-ordered and didn’t opt to Pick Your Plush, we will likely only order one so you won’t have the option to pick your favourite face (you will get what you’re given).

How do I pick my favourite plush when I pre-order?

Once we receive our shipment (including pre-orders) from Douglas Cuddle Toys, we will upload the individual plushie photos to our website (on the plushie product pages) for you to pick from! We will send you an email letting you know it’s time to pick.

Once you have picked your favourite, reply to our email with your first choice. Pick Your Plush works on a first-come, first-served basis, so please ensure you check your email (including your junk/spam folder) to know when it’s time to pick. We cannot guarantee your first choice will be available by the time you reply to our email, so please have a second and third choice just in case! 

If we do not hear back from you after 24 hours, we will open orders to the public but will keep one reserved for you.

What if I don’t pick?

If you don’t mention anything in the order special instructions in your cart, we will choose the plush at random and remove the ribbon and pendant before sending it as we assume you aren’t interested in the Pick Your Plush experience.

What if there is just one plush left to choose from? Will you keep the ribbon and pendant on?

We will happily keep the ribbon and pendant on only if you mention it in your order special instructions. If you don’t mention anything, we’ll assume you’re not interested and will remove the ribbon and pendant before sending.

I don’t want to pick a plush but I want a specific pendant. Can you send it?

No, sorry! We only use the pendants to identity the plushies. We don’t offer custom pendant requests at this time.

Is there a chance I will miss out on the plush I picked?

If we haven't updated the product page to reflect a plush being picked and your first choice has already been selected, we will contact you to arrange your second choice or you may opt for a refund.

I just placed an order and forgot to mention Pick Your Plush, can I still opt in?

Absolutely! If your order hasn't been processed yet, please reply to your order confirmation email stating you'd like to participate in the Pick Your Plush experience.

Does Pick Your Plush cost extra?

Nope! It is a complimentary service and it doesn't cost extra.
